A short story about us

OUR BRIEF HISTORY

1. HISTORY

2. ACTIVITIES and ACHIEVEMENTS

CPA has been involved in community support initiatives right from its inception, such as fundraising efforts to assist individuals or families in need, organizing trainings and awareness on various mental and physical health issues for both men and women, promoting Pashtun culture through organizing Pashto poetry sessions ( Mushaira) and re-creating and rejuvenating traditional “Hujra”, and so on.

The CPA also collaborates with other organizations to support the broader community. For instance, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the association participated in the Ramadan Food Hampers Drive, distributing food hampers to 230 families in Calgary that were affected by the pandemic.
